Hi, Im italia
Meet the photographer
I’m Italia — a photographer, wife, mom of two, and preschool teacher who believes the most meaningful photographs are the ones that bring you right back to how a moment felt.
For more than six years, I’ve had the joy of documenting love stories, milestones, and the little moments in between. My approach is documentary-inspired, with gentle direction when you need it and plenty of room for the real moments to unfold.
I want you to feel comfortable, present, and completely yourself in front of my camera — because years from now, I want your photographs to feel less like something you posed for and more like a memory you can step back into.
BEYOND THE CAMERA
THE PEOPLE AND FAITH THAT SHAPE ME
Outside of photography, my favorite roles are being a mom to my two little ones and a wife to my best friend.
I’m also a Christian and a follower of Jesus, and my faith is at the heart of who I am. It shapes the way I love, serve, and see the people I’m blessed to cross paths with.
Motherhood has taught me just how quickly life changes. The tiny hands don’t stay tiny. The little routines become memories. And the ordinary moments somehow become the ones we wish we could return to.
I’m also a preschool teacher, which means my days are filled with tiny personalities, big feelings, and plenty of unexpected moments. It has taught me even more to appreciate the beauty in the little things.
And when I have some quiet time for myself? You’ll probably find me watching an old romance movie. I love the nostalgia, the slow love stories, and anything that reminds me that some things are worth holding onto.
I think photographs are a little like that, too. They let us hold onto a moment long after the moment has passed.
PRESENT FOR THE MOMENT. ATTENTIVE TO THE DETAILS.
THE WAY I PHOTOGRAPH

I don’t want your photographs to feel like a collection of poses. I want them to feel like memories.
My approach is documentary-inspired, which means I’m always watching for the moments that happen naturally — the way your hands find each other, the laughter between portraits, the people who show up for you, and the little pieces of your day that you may not even notice while you’re living it.
But documentary doesn’t mean I’ll leave you wondering what to do. When you need direction, I’ll gently guide you. When a moment needs space, I’ll step back and let it unfold.
My goal is simple: I want you to be present in your day while I preserve the story happening around you.
